After an initial maturation in an ex-Rioja barrel, this single malt whiskey was transferred into casks that had previously held a bespoke Wicklow Wolf stout, brewed exclusively for Number 21. There it rested for twelve months, drawing in the deep character of the stout-seasoned wood before the cask was returned to Wicklow Wolf to be filled once again with beer.
The result is a rich, opulent whiskey layered with sweet fruits, creamy vanilla, and an indulgent depth born from its unique barrel journey.
